Yesterday when doing a writing experiment things get a bit, out of hand.

Don’t get me wrong it was a lot of fun, but then I had a hard time getting my wild mind to get calm.

Imagine a wild horse. You just slammed him to run and run, till he gets to a place where he can’t stop and just walk around.

Now he is running, sprinting around, but if you don’t have spells to calm him down, the trouble will come around.

You start to resist and tell him to not run around, “Just calm down” but he just gets more crazy and starts to kick even more around.

Moreover, if you resist and tell him to not run around, and to calm finally down, he would get more crazy and kick even more around.

You can get hit here and there. Hoping you would somehow make him still, for the next day that’s comes around.

Sitting, crunching in the corner of the mind, hoping he will not come back and kick you in the other round.

Meditation, honesty that’s where I think the skills you need would be found. So finally you calm your wild horse mind, next time around.

I really like this metaphor. Thinking about riding him when everything is fine. It’s fun he sometimes goes here and there, where you don’t want but, its fine this time around.

But when he gets in a bad mood and start to be wild. You’ll hope you have means and ways to calm him down.

Mind, my wild horse.

Yeah, experiments here and there, the unexpected learning that I didn’t see coming was that I want to find ways to get calm with my wild horse next time.

When you feed your horse and train him to get big, you better make sure that you know how to calm him down when he gets big.

There is also something really magical, if you think about calming your mind.

The idea of touching the wild horse on his head and saying: “It’s alright,” where there is only love and compassion around.

Yeah, some poems here and there, train your wild horse only as much as you train him, how to calm down.

Bye people, have a nice time,

Luke

I think my is more like a pony. It’s not, okay, it’s a horse already.

But imagine people Like Jordan Peterson really sharp and precise in his expression. He has like a dragon.

It must be a fun ride but the moment he turns around pissed. Yeah, hiding in a corner probably wouldn’t save you this time around.
